
Leo Carrera
SuperintendentLeo graduated from California State Poly Technic University, Pomona with a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness Management and a minor in Ornamental Horticulture. His career started in 2012 at Hacienda Golf Club as Assistant Superintendent and after 4 years at Hacienda, Leo went to Birch Hills in Brea for his first Superintendent position.
There he oversaw the completion of the course construction and after 3 years was offered the position here at California Country Club. In 2021, Leo became a Class A member for the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. When Leo is not at the course, he enjoys playing sports with his kids and coaching his daughter's softball team. In his free time, he enjoys cooking for friends and family.
